Seahorses for Saltwater Aquariums

Seahorses require specialized aquarium set-ups, just as pipefish do. They need slow moving water and something to hook their tails on, such as an artificial plant or skinny artificial coral. Live brine shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, and frozen mysis shrimp will be required to feed Seahorses. They can not be kept in an aquarium stocked with the usual saltwater fish, as those fish move too quickly and Seahorses will starve, but they are the ideal tank mates for Pipefish.
