Notes:
F0 denotes that this is a wild caught fish. Wild African cichlids display much brighter coloration than their captive raised cousins. The first generation of offspring would then be labeled F1, and their offspring F2, and so on.
Our cichlids have been housed in water with a pH of 7.8. Acclimation to aquariums with a higher pH should be done slowly and carefully.
