Notes: A generally peaceful aquarium fish (may eat small fish). The fish does best when kept in a small colony of 5 to 10 individuals. Our cichlids have been housed in water with a pH of 7.8. Acclimation to aquariums with a higher pH should be done slowly and carefully.
