This is an active little fish which needs to be kept in groups when kept in the home aquarium. There should be plenty of shady hiding places available in any aquarium these fish are to be housed in, so that the fish can feel comfortable and take cover when it feels the need. The Zebra Loach will do well eating sinking pelleted food, but offering it a wider variety including frozen food will be very beneficial.
