Yellow Eye Tang
Yellow Eye Tangs, Ctenochaetus strigosus, are found dispersed throughout the waters of the Indo Pacific region. Members of the genus Ctenochaetus are also called Bristle Tooth Tangs, making reference to their mouths. Their mouths are adapted to make scraping an alga meal from rocks easier. These Tangs are agile swimmers and entertain the aquarium viewer with their amusing antics. Tangs are herbivores and their diets should contain a variety of marine vegetable matter, such as seaweed.
