Yellow Clown Goby
Yellow Clown Goby, Gobiodon okinawae, adds "a little bit of sunshine" to a peaceful aquarium. It is great for a mini-reef because of its small size, growing to typically no larger than 2 inches. Though frequently found just perching on rocks, the bouncing movements of this bright yellow fish are great to watch. In the right lighting with a happy, healthy specimen, sheens of blue, orange, and red are sometimes visible. Also known as the Okinawa Goby, it is not picky about food and will come into the open to eat nearly anything provided. Flake and pellet will suffice but for best coloration, frozen and live should be fed frequently. This fish may be territorial toward its own genus, if not given plenty of room to establish its own territory. This completely reef-safe
fish is a great addition for aquarists of all experience levels.
