Also known as the Dojo Loach, this fish is a great addition to the freshwater community aquarium. Effective in its scavenging as it sifts through the substrate, this eel-like loach is a scaleless fish. Its mouth is surrounded by barbels that enable its search for morsels that have gone uneaten by higher-swimming inhabitants. A carnivore, it will do fine with any foods, but an occasional feeding of blackworms or bloodworms will be eagerly accepted and will help ensure best coloration.
