An incredibly eccentric species, this fish swims upside-down, as indicated in the name. This is due to their spending most of their time in caves and small holes and will be evident in the home aquarium. It spends the majority of its time hiding in the darker regions of the aquarium and will come out for food mainly after dark. These fish are happy with all different kinds of food. They have a yellowish brown body that is covered in marbling. Unlike most fish, this creature is darker on the bottom and lighter on top. This fish is very peaceful and does a wonderful job of ridding the bottom of the aquarium of unwelcome worms and or detritus.
