These filters are uniquely designed with 3 intake vents to provide maxium efficiency. These versatile filters may be used for biological, chemical, or mechanical filtration depending on the media chosen for the filter. Use as the primary filter or as a back-up. Great for breeding tanks, isolation/hospital tanks, or for beginner aquarists. Airstone included. Small measures 3" x 3" x 5" and is for aquariums up to 45 gallons; medium measures 3.5" x 3.5" x 5.5" and is for aquariums up to 75 gallons; large measures 4.25" x 4.25" x 6 1/8" and is for aquariums up to 100 gallons.
