These filters direct the water through multiple layers of floss to remove more particles. The carbon inside the floss eliminates odors, discoloration and harmful toxins. The Bio-Scrubber removes ammonia and nitrites that can be deadly to your fish. The new filter carrier holds the filter and keeps it from dripping on the floor as you carry it. After discarding the old filter and inserting a new one, the carrier easily drops back into place within the filter system.

The patented Timestrip Technology accurately determines when your carbon filter has expired and it is time to replace the pad. A new Timestrip comes with each new carbon cartridge.

The Whisper EX is ready to go right out of the box. Simply adjust the extension tube, place the filtration system on your aquarium and plug it in. The submerged motor begins filtering water immediately, with no priming required, and with an extremely quiet operation.
