Smith's Blenny
Smith’s Blenny, Meiacanthus smithi, has a unique, sleek appearance and makes a great reef-safe, aquarium fish. Also known as the White Blenny or the Disco Blenny, it is commonly seen throughout Sri Lankan waters. This animated, relatively hardy character grows to a maximum length around 4.5 inches. Its size makes it perfect for large and for small aquariums. These Blennies do best one per aquarium, unless a great deal of space and Live Rock is provided. This fish is an animated swimmer and an eager eater. As an omnivore, it will eagerly accept a variety of foods including Brine Shrimp, bloodworms, and Spirulina. Flake foods are accepted fairly readily.
