An attractive, active scavenger whose personality helps with its popularity. Also known as the Cream Loach or Mouse Loach, this is a great fish to group – either with its own species or with other similar Loaches. Active during the day and night, this torpedo-shaped fish has a light-colored body with a dark stripe running along the dorsal region. Some tiger-like, vertical striping is also often present on the body. It does best in well-aerated water with good water flow. A number of decorations including driftwood will help it feel at home. While active, these fish are comical to watch as they chase and play with one another.
