The Red/Orange Angler is also sometimes called a Wartskin angler. These fish are ambush hunters which use a bait device called an esca to lure potential prey in closer to eat. Having live food available for this fish would be the ideal option. Freshwater mollies and feeder shrimp are both good choices as feeder fish for anglers. They will eat anything small enough to fit into their mouths, so no small invertebrates or smaller fish should be kept with the angler.
