While this fish is not a member of the Aristochromis genus at all, it is still most commonly known as this. This very attractive fish has been popular to keepers of African cichlids for many years. They are generally peaceful toward their tank mates but can be considered semi aggressive toward others of their own species. This fish will scavenge food left behind by other fish in the tank, as well as chasing down food on its own.
