The Red Lipped Blenny is usually found in shallow reef rubble with considerable current, grazing on the Live Rock for small zooplankton and algae. It should not be housed in the aquarium with other conspecific or different Blennies. Otherwise it is nonaggressive towards other fish and will do best in a mature tank with plenty of live rock. Its diet can be supplemented with algae based prepared foods, frozen, flake or pelleted.
