Queen Angel
One of the most prized and largest Atlantic Angelfish, the Holacanthus ciliaris or Queen Angelfish can obtain a length of 17 inches in the wild. Because if this size, and the fact that this is a very aggressive fish, it should be given plenty of room to swim. Very rugged, it will adapt to a varied diet of vegetable and meaty prepared foods and specialty sponge based "Angelfish diets". As with other active swimmers, feedings two to three times daily should be considered the norm. With a yellow on blue body and blue "crown" on its forehead, it can be distinguished from its look alike cousin, the Blue Angelfish by the presence of a solid yellow tail. This personality-plus fish is considered by some to be the saltwater equivalent to the freshwater Oscar in its interactions with its owner.
