The Porkfish will require a large aquarium with mostly open spaces. It prefers to be in a small group, and should not be housed with aggressive fish. Its natural diet consists of crustaceans, shrimp and crabs. In the aquarium it will accept most meaty foods, krill, clam, squid and fresh seafood. They are considered a hardy fish and usually will remain fairly active, constantly cruising the open areas of the aquarium.
