Poly Reactor
A fluidized reaction chamber for chemical media allows for more efficient use of the media, be it activated carbon, phosphate removing resins, nitrate sponge material or other resins. The unique “up flow” of the water can utilize 100% of the surface area of the media and it never becomes clogged with detritus. The Poly-Reactor unit includes the 15”T, 2 3/8”D reaction chamber, intake and return hose connections and a variable speed submersible water pump. It is designed to be used as a tank hang-on unit, or as an in-sump reactor. Everything needed to operate the unit (except media) is included. The water pump is rated at about 100 GPH with a control valve outlet, and uses 5.5W of power. The easy twist off top allows for simple maintenance or for resin replacement while the discharge filter sock prevents any resin from escaping into the aquarium/sump. This unit will require 5 inches behind the tank to be used as a hang-on unit.
