This gorgeous variation of the convict cichlid is a bright platinum color, but otherwise is identical to the normal convict cichlid. This fish is hardy, breeds easily in the aquarium, and is an excellent fish for beginners. The convict is native to South and central america and is also more commonly available in pink and black. The platinum convict cichlid is an omnivore and will eat nearly anything it is offered, making it easy to care for.
