Passer Angel
One of the hardier Angels, the Holacanthus passer or Passer Angelfish is found in the Eastern Pacific ocean. A natural sponge feeder, it can readily adapt to a prepared diet of vegetable and meat based foods, with occasional feeding of "angelfish diet" foods. A semi-aggressive fish, this should be the "last" fish placed in the aquarium and not be kept with more docile fish like Butterflies, Anthias or sedentary fish. It is not a "reef safe" angelfish. A pleasing orangish background color with white and blue bands and a solid yellow tail make for a stunning addition to the aquarium.
