The Orange Body Filefish tends to be a shy fish, so it is important to pick the tank mates for it carefully so that it does not get scared. This fish will eat small invertebrates, so it is not safe for a reef aquarium with invertebrates. The filefish prefers a meaty diet, so keeping frozen shrimp, krill, scallops and the like on hand for it is very important. This fish does prefer to graze for food, so it may be necessary to wedge pieces of food into decorations or rock to allow the fish to have a more natural feeding behavior.
