The Ocellate Damsel is one of the harder to find damsels in the aquarium hobby, for a small fish it is very aggressive and territorial. This fish will do well in a fairly aggressive aquarium as long as its tankmates can not fit it in their mouths. The damsel will be safe for a reef aquarium, as it does not bother invertebrates or corals. This fish will eat a wide variety of commercially prepared dry and frozen foods.
