New River Dart Frog
Poison dart frogs, also called poison-arrow frogs or simply poison frogs, belong to the Dendrobatidae family. These frogs are diurnal so they are active during the day and rest at night. They are found in areas of South America and have heavy populations in Costa Rica. In the wild these frogs are toxic, but when bred in captivity they do not have the same toxic properties.
Petsolutions offers only dart frogs that have been well fed for 3 to 5 months and not the tiny frogs often found elsewhere. We do this not only for the well being of the frogs, but also for the benefit of new frog owners so they can have great success when adding a dart frog to their family.
