Neon Dwarf Rainbow
A smaller variation of the popular Australian Rainbow, Melanotaenia macculochi is admired for being hardy, active, and small. With a maximum length under 3 inches, the Neon Dwarf Rainbow has all of the positive traits of its larger cousin and is, therefore, perfect for smaller and medium-sized community aquariums. Preferring slightly saline water of about 75 degrees, this schooling fish will readily accept dried, frozen, or live foods. Given its high energy level, frequent feedings (without overfeeding) are welcomed.
Approximate arrival size for Neon Dwarf Rainbow: 1.5 to 2.5 inches
