This plant does best in higher light conditions with a fine substrate of either sand or a product like Seachem’s Flourite. Once the plant takes root, it will send out runners which will form new plants. Given enough time, nutrition, and lighting the chain sword will form a nice grassy foreground that some fish such as German Blue Rams really love.
