Mini-Reef Live Rock
Mini-Reef Live Rock consists of hand-sized, hand-selected pieces that are ideal for smaller “nano-sized” aquarium systems. Choice mixes of rock from origins throughout the Indo-Pacific, these uniquely shaped and colored pieces are outstanding for natural filtration in any saltwater aquarium. Petsolutions Mini-Reef Live Rock is stored in holding tanks to minimize the need for any further curing, although it is still strongly recommended. Following curing and some time in proper lighting and water conditions, the rock provides a great basis for marine plants, Coralline Algae, and other live growth. These select pieces have broken free from the reefs surrounding islands including Fiji and Tonga. Great as rock structure for the small aquarium or as filler for larger aquariums, this top-notch Live Rock is great rock at a great price. This rock is often categorized as rubble rock, and as such these pieces are usually no larger than golf ball size. Consider this before ordering, as this rock may not be large enough to build reef structure in nano tanks but it is very useful for adding new organisms to a nano tank or filling in bare spots.
To ensure the safety and well-being of aquarium inhabitants, Live Rock must be cured again prior to placement in any aquarium that houses fish, corals, or invertebrates.
