Mayaca

Mayaca, Mayaca fluviatilis, is also known by the common names Bog Moss and Silver Mist Foxtail. Ideal for positioning in the mid-ground of the aquarium, Mayaca is a fast growing plant. Such fast growth helps inhibit algae blooms through nutrient competition. The plant prefers slightly acidic water and should flourish in the care of an experienced aquatic gardener. The reproduction method of Mayaca is accomplished via cuttings. Several bunches are recommended for initial plantings, with individual plants being grouped closely.
