This swordtail is truly exceptional, in that both the males and females have attractive tails. The female will have a lyretail, and the male will have a lyretail as well as the traditional long “sword” on its tail. These fish tend to be larger upon arrival than the standard swordtail, and are of outstanding quality. Both the male and female are a bright yellow/marigold color that really stands out in an aquarium. Males are sometime intolerant of other males, so they should be kept as a pair, or better yet, as a trio, one male and two females.
