This brightly colored orange tinted guppy is also known as the Micariffe Guppy as well as the Tequila Sunrise Guppy. This fish has a beautiful dark to light color change, which is where it gets its sunrise name. These Livebearers are easy keepers for the beginning aquarist because they are hardy, peaceful, community safe fish. They are same species compatible. However, you do need to watch inter-species mixing. Do not mix them with “fin nippers”. The ideal living conditions for the Guppy is a ten gallon tank with a temperature range of 75 - 85º F. As an Omnivore, it requires both algae-based (flake) & meaty foods (freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, & brine shrimp).
