Male Green Cobra Guppy
The patterned coloration of the Male Green Cobra Guppy is spectacular! A bright green, gray, and yellow body with a snakeskin pattern and a yellow and black patterned tail fin makes it a unique addition to your aquarium. This is a color variation of the Poecilia reticulate guppy, which is farm-raised originally in Singapore. This particular Guppy is ideal for the beginner because it is a peaceful community safe fish and is very hardy. Even though the Green Cobra Guppy is very tolerant of changing tank conditions the ideal is a 20 gallon tank with a 64-82° F water temperature. As an Omnivore, it requires both algae-based (flake) & meaty foods (freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, & brine shrimp). The male Green Cobra Guppy is small in size (Adult 2”), with brighter coloration, a bigger tail fin, and pointed anal fin.
