Majestic Angel
Also known as the Bluegirdled or Navarchus Angelfish, the Euxiphipops navarchus is found in the Eastern Indian and Western Pacific oceans. The Majestic Angel can, depending on sapce provided, grow to a respectable 8 inches in captivity (and up to 12 inches in the wild. It should be given plenty of room. It is generally easier to acclimate juveniles to captivity and, once acclimated, they are rather hardy fish. This Angelfish is initially shy and requires adequate hiding places in the aquarium. It should be feed a varied diet of vegetable and meaty prepared foods, fresh seafood and specialized "Angelfish" diets. The Majestic Angel is truly a beautiful and majestic fish. As with all angels, it may become aggressive toward other Angelfish.
