Maculosus Angel
An aquarium gem from the Red Sea and East African Pacific oceans, the Pomacanthus maculosus is a true aquarium gem that has similar coloration to the Pomacanthus asfur, except it has a white tail instead of a yellow tail. In the wild, it can grow up to 12 inches in length. Kept singly, it may still become aggressive toward new tankmates and other Angelfish. A hardy aquarium fish, it will eat a varied diet of vegetable and meaty prepared foods and "Angelfish diets". It is not a reef safe Angel, as it may likely bother Stony Corals. Be sure to offer adequate rock work to provide hiding spaces.
