They are very peaceful yet active schooling fish that spend the majority of their time swimming about the tank showing off their brilliant and intricate striping. They are mainly a silvery green with a greenish gold stripe on the upper half of their sides. Below that is a reddish stripe with a red spot on their tails. They are known as one of the easiest aquarium fish to spawn.
