Live Feeder Wax Worms
Waxworms (Galleria mellonella) are a soft bodied grub and a nice addition to the diet of a reptile in order to provide more diversity. Think of these as cake or pie in human terms. They are a high fat treat that should be fed only in small quantities. Wax worms are often good to get a picky eater to start eating. These worms should be stored at approximately 55 degrees Fahrenheit in low humidity. They can be kept at room temperature, but they will mature more quickly. These worms are at a stage of their life where they do not require food, they are living off the fat in their bodies. The longer wax worms are kept before being fed off, the smaller they will get.
