Live Feeder Superworms

Superworms (Zophobas morio) are huge, twice the size of a giant mealworm. They have a softer body than mealworms do, which makes them easier to digest. The 1000 count is a bulk worm and will need to be transferred to a plastic container for proper care. A container should be plastic and roughly twice the size of a shoebox. The container should be at least six inches tall and should not include a lid. Cat litter boxes usually make a great container. Use about two inches of bedding for the worms, and provide water gel for them approximately every other day. The bedding will be need to be replaced after about two weeks. Superworms should be stored at room temperature, as they are a tropical worm.
