The ideal food for getting picky eaters such as butterfly fish to start eating after shipment, live brine shrimp are also a great food source for pipefish and seahorses. Starting new aquarium additions off on live brine in your aquarium makes them more comfortable quickly, and then the fish can easily be transitioned into frozen and prepared foods. Live brine shrimp also make a great treat for an existing aquarium fish population.
Setting these shrimp up in a small aquarium in the 2.5 to 5 gallon range with an air stone or sponge filter will be ideal for keeping them alive until they can be fed to the fish in the display aquarium. Brine shrimp can be fed brine shrimp specific food, crushed up marine flake food, and live phytoplankton.
As these are a live feeder invertebrate we will guarantee live arrival on brine shrimp but we are unable to offer our 14 day live guarantee on either size of live brine shrimp.
