The Lined Dartfish will do much better when kept with another of its kind, so two should be purchased at the same time if interested in keeping this fish. They are an active fish, but can be shy so care should be taken to not overpopulate the aquarium with larger fish. These little fish are also good jumpers, so a secure lid should be used on any aquarium where these fish are to be housed.
