Lamarck Angel
One of the few "reef safe" Angelfish, the Genicanthus lamarcki or Lamarck's Angel as it is commonly known is found in the west Indo-Pacific Ocean. It obtains a 9-inch length in the wild. In addition to being "reef safe", this is one of the few Angelfish that will tolerate other Angels in the aquarium. It may even tolerate multiple Lamarck's Angels in the tank, if it is large enough. Adapting to captivity well, this fish requires a varied diet of vegetable and meat based prepared foods and frozen Mysis Shrimp. This fish is an active swimmer and may chase slow moving, smaller fish.
