Jungle Carpet Python
The Jungle Carpet Python is a very attractive subspecies of the Carpet Python. Instead of the normal shades of brown and black, they are bright yellow and black. Carpet Pythons are found in all of Australia except the west. Their widespread habitat covers dry forest regions and rocky steppes. These semi-arboreal snakes seem to prefer heavily wooded areas. They are more active at night but often roam around during the day as well.
