Hydor Koralia Controllable Pumps & Wavemakers

To produce the custom currents required for success in a mini-reef aquarium, Hydor offers the low voltage Koralia pumps to be used with their Wavemaker Control systems. (Pumps have a unique power cord connector that only works with the Hydor Wavemakers). These low voltage pumps offer:

• Variable Flow Rates with 5 models featuring flow rates from 100 gph to 1400 gph.
• Patented Suction Cup/ Magnet mount to allow easy placement exactly where you want
• Pivoting ball joint allows the direction of the flow to be angled, and a concentrator can be used to create a direct flow in place of the standard wide dispersal flow
• Low 12V operation increases safety, must be operated with the Koralia Wavemaker systems
• Specialized Propeller Rotor allows high flow rates with very low power comsumption, from 0.6W to 13.7W

The Koralia Wavemaker Basic unit is available with options to control two or four low voltage Koralia pumps. The units include simple controls to set a minimum and maximum flow rate for the pumps and specialized connectors to work with the power cord from the low voltage Koralia pumps. Features include:

• Alternating Flow pattern that switches the minimum and maximum levels between the two (or four) pumps to create random patterns. The pumps can be set to alternate every 2 to 15 seconds, or for tidal effects, every 1 to 6 hours!
• A Feeding Mode can be entered with a simple touch of the “SET” button, all pumps will be placed on Hold for 5 minutes
• Optional Night time mode will slow down the pumps and can be used with the optional photo-electric cell (not included) for automatic switching when the lights are out
• A self regulating Cooling Fan keeps the Wavemaker unit safe, preventing the voltage regulators from over-heating.

The Basic 2-Way Koralia Wavemaker Controller can control up to 2 pumps, while the Deluxe 4-Way Wavemaker Controller can control up to 4 controllable pumps.
