Hissing Cockroaches, (Gromphadorhina portentosa),are ground dwelling creatures native to the tropical island of Madagascar. These unique wingless cockroaches produce hissing sounds that can be heard up to twelve feet away. The aggressive males have large horn-like bumps protruding behind their head.
