As with most Cowfish, the Helmet will require a mature system and somewhat expert care. They can be housed in a mini-reef, though they may nip at any featherworms and smaller invertebrates. If kept with other fish, make sure they are fairly docile and will allow the Cowfish a chance to get its share of the food. They should be offered meaty foods, Mysis, Clam or chopped fish.
