These fish are peaceful to even the smallest fish. They are very active swimmers and like to travel in schools. They grow to be about 1 inch in length and will accept dried foods. Frozen or live foods bode well with them also. These fish are mainly a silvery red with a dark black triangle covering their back half. They spend quite a bit of time out in the open and it is unlikely to find them hiding in aquarium plant growth. This mysterious little gem is a wonderful addition to any aquarium and is happiest in very soft and acidic waters. They like the water temperature to be fairly warm with temperatures between 76 and 80 degrees.
