Hard to Swallow Plant Pack

The Hard to Swallow Plant Pack provides plants that do their best to stand up against the hunger of herbivorous fish. We found that a variety of substrate conditions will work for this package, with plants like the Java Fern even being able to root to driftwood and rocks.

This plant package will handle a variety of lighting conditions, but we do recommend a minimum of at least two standard fluorescent bulbs for the two smaller packages, and four standard fluorescent bulbs for the two larger size packages. Using a good quality bulbs designed for plant growth, and replacing the bulbs once each year will help keep your plants growing. Using brighter lighting such as T-5, HO, VHO, and Power Compact will be beneficial to this package if available.

When filling an order for a plant package, if one of the plants in the package is unable to be shipped due to stocking or health reasons we will substitute a plant which requires equivalent care and is similar in value.
