Green Severum

Though territorial, the Severum is rather peaceful and similar to Angel Fish in temperment. They will match up with most medium to large Community fish and other “peaceful” cichlds. Best kept in pairs of small groups, juveniles will start with several black vertical stripes on a gray/green body with small red/black freckles. As they mature, the Severum will loss most of the stripes, except for the one nearest the tail. Be sure to offer meaty foods like blood worms or krill for an occasional treat. The Severum is somewhat shy, but can develop a “bond” with their owners.
