Golden Red Tail Catfish
The Golden Red Tail Catfish, Pseudobagrus brachysoma also known as the Bullseye Catfish, is a shy aquarium resident with a lot of character. This fish will primarily come out from hiding at night, or will be out more often in a more dimly lit aquarium. The Golden Red Tail Catfish prefers PH in the lower range of 6.0 to 7.5 and a temperature range of 74 to 77 degrees. While this fish is timid and a bit shy, it shouldn’t be trusted around very small fish as they may be looked at as a food of opportunity. This fish can attain a size of 18 inches when full grown, so it should only be kept in large aquariums.
