Gold Tetra
The Gold Tetra Hemigrammus rodwayi is a peaceful community fish that is an excellent choice for aquariums that contain small, non aggressive fish. The Gold Tetra will do best in schools, so it is recommended that five or more be kept in a group. A schooling fish kept in a school will adapt much more easily to a new environment, and will often exhibit interesting behavior they will not show alone. Gold tetras in captivity usually show more of a silver coloration than gold, but the wild caught specimens show more gold. These fish will be most comfortable in temperatures of 76 to 80 degrees farenheit.
