The Glowlight Tetra is known as one of the most peaceful of all Tetras. While this is a plus for the Glowlight, it does mean that finding aquarium mates who will not bother the Glowlight can be a challenge. Ensure that it is placed with fish that will not pick on it. The Glowlight is best recognized by the glowing orange-pink line which runs from just above its eye back to its tail. Discovered nearly a century ago, this fish has found security in numbers and does best in schools. A well-planted aquarium and a diversity of food (including live) help the Glowlight Tetra to feel at home and to maintain its radiance.
