This little freshwater shrimp, also known as the glass shrimp, this fish is often eaten by more aggressive fish and is thought of many times as a feeder item but keeping these little shrimp in a peaceful aquarium as full time residents has several benefits. The Ghost Shrimp is an excellent scavenger of leftover food, and is also a very active little creature that will move all around an aquarium all day every day. It is strongly recommended that a minimum of 5 of these shrimp are ordered, or they will blend into the aquarium and not be seen well in smaller numbers as well as being less effective at scavenging leftover food. Please note, this shrimp is for freshwater aquariums, it will not live in salt water.
