GEOtronic Ocean Thermo-Regulators

The new generations GEOTronicOcean Thermo-regulators use the principle of thermoelectric control to maintain a constant temperature in the aquarium by either cooling or heating the water to the desired set point. By use of the “Peltier Effect” and DC power, these Thermo-regulators allow you to maintain a set point with capacity to achieve a 9°F pull down chilling. The only moving parts of the system are the cooling fans, ensuring quiet operation. Six models are available for aquarium up to 300 gallons and all units have a remote digital controller. The Thermo-regulator requires no environmentally hazardous Freon and uses much less electrical power and is easy to install with nearly no maintenance (clean the fans) making this a great option versus using a traditional chiller. The compact design on the unit allows it to be placed in a small area, hung on a wall or even suspended as long as there is adequate ventilation to exhaust the heat away from the unit. Your heater should be between 3 to 5 watts per gallon of water.
